We moved to Los
Angeles in the beginning of November. It turned out that we have a disabled
neighbor. His name is Eldritch. He cannot walk alone, but only move around in a
wheelchair. He was so glad that the young Ukrainian missionaries arrived and
somehow started to buy us food.
Every night when we get home tired, our shelves
had something new on it, like candies, or fruits. We were surprise by such his
actions. Then of course, we wanted to take care of him in return. We brought him
with us to Hollywood, then to a restaurant in Koreatown. He was very surprised how
it all changed. After all, he did not visit these places for twenty years, and
he has not been among so many people for a long time. A week later, we all went
to the hospital to visit his wife, Marsha. She was very happy to see us all. Nobody
visited her in hospital for long ago except her husband, unfortunately. That's
how it works. What goes around comes around. If you take care of someone, then
later someone will take care of you.
